Wietske van Erp Taalman Kip holds an MA in Urban & Spatial Planning from the University of Amsterdam where she graduated in 2001. She has six years of work experience with inner and outer city planning projects while working as a policy developer and project manager at several local governments in the Netherlands. The projects spanned from urban infill locations to rural and suburban retrofitting on local and state level, often accomplished by Public Private Partnerships and close community involvement.
Wietske has been with Real NewEnergy since its start up in February 2010. She holds the LEED AP Neighborhood Development credential from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council).
For three years Wietske has worked as a teacher at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C, offering several hands-on programs to public, private and home schools. The focus of all programs is the ever changing Built Environment and how this relates to the lives of pre-K to high school students.
More recently, Wietske has been the green build development focal for OrangeGoesGreen and as such is managing the various initiatives and opportunities in the field of urban sustainability and district scale developments for the OrangeGoesGreen member companies.
